Is it safe to sign in to Netflix from inside the app?
Yes. Your Netflix credentials are only saved on your computer (they are never transmitted to Smartflix servers). They are automatically deleted when you sign out of Netflix or when you uninstall the app.

How many devices can I use Smartflix on?
When you start a Smartflix subscription, it will be linked to your Netflix account. This means you can use it on as many devices as you like, but simultaneous watching will be restricted to the same as your Netflix account.

When and how can I get a refund?
As specificed in our Terms of Service, we unfortunately do not offer any refund for monthly subscriptions.
We do however offer refunds on one-year prepaid plans during the first 30 days. If you would like to be refunded, please send an email to [email protected] mentioning the email you used to create your Smartflix account and, if you paid with Paypal, your Paypal email (we will not be able to process the refund if any of this information is missing). You can expect the refund to be effective after a few days.
Note: uppercase matters in the email, so please go to and copy/paste the email you see at the top right hand corner of the page.

Can I use Chromecast?
Google forces Google DNS on the Chromecast, making region-unblocking impossible.
Note: If you know how to reroute/block Google DNS at the router level, then Smartflix may offer a solution very soon. Stay tuned!

Is Smartflix available on iPhone, Android, Smart TV, Roku, Apple TV, etc...?
Right now Smartflix is only available for Windows and Mac.

All I'm seeing is a red loading circle, why?
Something on your network or your computer may be blocking the proxy port used by the app (port 8080). Try to open in your regular browser to see if that's the case.
If that page loads, please try re-downloading and re-installing Smartflix. If it still doesn't work, contact us via the chat.

Why am I getting sound and no picture?
Please ensure your app is on the latest version (by restarting the application). If this doesn't work, get in touch with us.

I am seeing a 'Title Unavailable' error
Most of the time these errors are temporary, and are usually resolved within 12-24 hours. Please check the country of origin (by hovering over it), and ensuring it is located in a widely supported region (by checking other content from the same region).

What is the maximum quality I can get with Smartflix?
At the moment Smartflix has the same quality limitations as Google Chrome and Firefox (720p max). It's a Netflix decision and I'm hoping Netflix starts allowing 1080p soon.

Will Netflix ban my account for using Smartflix?
Millions of users have been region-unblocking Netflix for years without getting into any trouble. There are many other services offering this, Smartflix is just a "nice all-in-one" app!

How much does Smartflix cost?
At the end of your 7 days free trial, Smartflix costs USD $3.99 a month. This payment will be a separate payment from Netflix and you will be asked to pay to continue using the app when the free trial expires (it's not automatic). We accept Paypal and major credit cards.
